I am Mrs. Shalini, an Educational professonal, 

M Sc (Chem), B.ed . Currently I am the principal of AHPS, R&R. My foray into the field of education, was a natural progression of my life’s journey. The lesson that was engraved in my mind while growing up was that” Education is the key for opening all doors”. I believe in providing holistic and hands on learning experiences to children and teachers. My interest has been in developing a thoughtful learning environment, nature friendly curriculum and enhancing professional development. 

About school:

We are an almost  42 years old school, established on 13th August 1980 with a strength of only 11 students and 4 teachers. This school was earlier known as Vidya Vihar Primary School. This institution is run by Army Hospital, R&R with a mission of embracing an ever- evolving, child- centric education system. A good balance between academic and extra- curricular activities is crucial for the overall development and growth of the students. Our school ensures that each child gets personal attention. Our school believes in preparing the child not just for career but also for life. To achieve this, we follow an integrated curriculum, multidisciplinary approach and build socio emotional learning skills into the framework of the curriculum itself. learning by doing is paramount in all subjects. At AHPS we firmly believe in engage, enrich and empower the capacity of students in their foundational learning stages. Our students experience stress free learning environment which is achieved by instilling latest pedagogical approach towards teaching and learning methods. Our endeavour is to prepare our students to live and work in modern societies with its ever- evolving challenges and choices. It is important to teach our students find their own Quotients and work towards their goals with positive approach and attitude towards life.
